We have a dedicated training officer who provides our staff with ongoing continuing medical education to keep them up to date on the ever evolving world of emergency medical services. Aside from our in-house training services, we are a Pennsylvania Department of Health recognized continuing education sponsor and offer continuing medical education for fire, ambulance, or healthcare service, at your site or ours, for countless topics. We maintain friendly and well informed instructors and always maintain a wonderful student to instructor ratio permitting class participants plenty of opportunity to have personalized attention.
We are also able to provide initial and refresher training in adult and infant/child CPR, first aid, oxygen administration and automatic defibrillation. Please feel free to contact us to help with any of your training needs.

Emergency Medical Technician
October 3, 2022 through December 31, 2022
Mondays through Thursdays 8am-noon

$600.00 Self Pay or Pay to Train*
*Applicants accepted into the Pay to Train his program will earn a taxable wage (10.50/hr) while this training program is in session. Prospective students will be required to sign a 1 year employment agreement with Trans-Med Ambulance.
This course prepares the candidate to take the certification exam for National Registry of EMT’s psycho-motor and cognitive exams which are required for PA State DOH certification. In this course, the student will learn basic emergency skills such as CPR, Basic airway management, medical and trauma assessment and management. The candidate will train in EMS operations ranging from Hazmat to Mass Casualty/MCI.
**Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and free of criminal conviction to apply. Photo ID and Social Security card are required for the application process. Other prerequisites can be found in our application packet.
